From the moment you meet us at the EuroBikeTours office in Hull, your journey is organised and fully supported. You’ll travel together to Rotterdam, ride some of Europe’s finest motorcycle routes with experienced tour escorts, stay in carefully selected hotels, and enjoy a relaxed, social touring experience with like-minded riders.
At Eurobiketours, we believe that a great motorcycle tour should be about enjoying the riding, the scenery and the experience — not worrying about the logistics. From the moment you arrive at our offices to the moment you return home, your tour is carefully organised and supported by our experienced tour escorts.
On the day of departure, everyone will meet at the Eurobiketours office before heading to the ferry terminal for the overnight crossing to Rotterdam.
We will begin with a safety briefing and tour induction, giving you the opportunity to meet your fellow riders and tour escorts. We will go through the important information for the journey ahead and answer any questions you may have before setting off.
Before heading to the ferry, we will make a final stop for fuel so that everyone begins the tour with a full tank. We will then travel together to the ferry terminal, where your Eurobiketours tour escorts will assist you with the loading process and ensure everyone is ready to board.
Once onboard, you will be given an electronic key for your cabin and are free to settle in and enjoy the crossing.
For your evening meal, you are free to choose from the ferry’s three eating areas, allowing you to decide where and what you would like to eat before getting some rest ahead of the first day on the road.
The following morning, you will disembark from the ferry alongside your tour escorts and make your way through customs control.
Once everyone has cleared customs, the tour escorts will gather the group together and the adventure truly begins as we set off on the first leg of your motorcycle tour.
Because everyone leaves with a full tank of fuel, we will normally plan fuel stops at approximately every 100 miles. This helps keep the group together and ensures nobody needs to worry about finding fuel or wondering when the next stop will be.
We believe that a motorcycle tour should be enjoyable, not a race. Our daily riding schedule includes regular breaks, giving everyone time to relax, recharge and enjoy the journey.
Our typical daily schedule includes:
Around 10:30am – Coffee Break
Approximately 30 minutes to stretch your legs, enjoy a coffee and chat with the group.
Around 12:30pm – Lunch Break
Approximately one hour to enjoy lunch and take a proper break from the motorcycle.
Around 3:00pm – Afternoon Break
Approximately 30 minutes for another opportunity to relax before completing the final part of the day’s ride.
Naturally, timings can occasionally change depending on the route, weather, traffic and other circumstances, but regular breaks are always an important part of how we organise our tours.
Upon arriving at the hotels, your tour escort will assist with reception to ensure a smooth and seamless check-in experience. Where possible, we generally arrange an evening meal at the hotel restaurant, provided it offers a good variety of food. We normally aim to book the group meal for around 7:00pm.
Please note that evening meals and drinks are not included in the tour package price. You are simply responsible for the cost of your own food and drinks on the evening.
If the hotel restaurant is not suitable or does not offer enough variety, we will arrange a meal at a suitable local restaurant instead, unless other options are not available.
After a full day in the saddle, we find that the last thing most riders want to do is spend their evening searching for somewhere to eat. By organising this in advance, everyone can simply relax, freshen up and enjoy their evening.
Of course, you are never obliged to eat with the group and are completely free to make your own arrangements if you prefer.
However, we find that sharing an evening meal is one of the things that really brings the group together. It gives everyone the opportunity to talk about the day’s riding, share experiences and get to know their fellow riders — often creating friendships and memories that become just as important as the roads themselves.
Approximately 30 days before your tour begins, every rider will receive a comprehensive Eurobiketours Tour Pack.
This has been designed to give you as much information as possible before you set off, helping you prepare for your adventure and ensuring you have everything you need to ride safely and legally in Europe.
Your Tour Pack will include:
We strongly recommend taking the time to read through your Tour Pack before departure, as it contains a great deal of useful information to help you prepare for your tour.
Before departure, every rider will also receive an email containing all of the route files for the tour.
These include both GPX and ITN files, allowing you to add the routes for each day directly to your preferred compatible navigation system.
We know that not everyone is confident when it comes to loading route files onto navigation equipment, so please don’t worry if you are unsure how to do this. In your tour pack will be instructions for your navigation device.
Or simply get in touch with us and we will be happy to help.
We also have a system set up in our conference room at the Eurobiketours office, allowing us to assist riders with loading their route files onto their navigation systems before departure if required.
Our aim is to make sure that everyone feels prepared and confident before the tour begins.
While daily route files are provided for your navigation system, our tours offer a bit more flexibility than a standard group ride. You are free to ride at your own pace, pair up with a small group, or stick with the main tour escort. Whichever option you choose, you’ll have all the route information and support you need to navigate comfortably if you ever feel the group’s pace is too fast or too slow.
Your tour escorts are there to assist with navigation, fuel stops, diversions and the day-to-day organisation of the tour.
From the moment we leave Hull to the moment we return, we want you to be able to concentrate on what really matters:
Enjoying your motorcycle, experiencing some incredible roads and scenery, and sharing an unforgettable adventure with like-minded riders.
10 Miles
15 Minutes
We begin the tour by meeting at the EuroBikeTours offices, where everyone signs in and joins a short safety briefing to ensure all riders feel confident and ready for the journey ahead. This is also a great opportunity to meet your tour escorts and get to know your fellow riders before the adventure begins. Once the group is prepared and introductions are made, we set off together for the Hull–Rotterdam ferry to start our trip.

325 Miles
Approximately 7h 25m (Including 2hrs for breaks)
Leaving Belgium behind, we dive south toward the legendary Vosges Mountains, where the roads begin to tighten and the riding really comes alive. Smooth tarmac, dense woodland, and a constant rhythm of sweeping bends and tight twisties make this stretch a motorcyclist’s dream. As we carve our way deeper into the forest, every corner reveals another postcard view and another reason why this region is one of Europe’s great riding destinations.

167 Miles
Approximately 6h 5m (Including 2hrs for breaks)
Leaving the southern edge of the Vosges Mountains behind, we head east across the rolling countryside of Switzerland. This stretch trades dense forest for open farmland, quiet villages, and beautifully flowing backroads that let the bikes settle into a smooth rhythm. With the Alps slowly growing on the horizon, we cruise through classic Swiss scenery before arriving near the Swiss/Italian, where the mountains begin to dominate the skyline and the next alpine adventure awaits.

223 Miles
Approximately 6h 5m (Including 2hrs for breaks)
From the foothills of the Alps, the road quickly begins to climb as we leave the gentle countryside behind and head deep into the Italian Alps. This stretch is pure riding bliss—tight switchbacks, fast alpine sweepers, and dramatic mountain scenery at every turn. We weave through high valleys and over breathtaking passes, where crisp mountain air and towering peaks surround the road. By the time we descend into the final valley, it’s clear we’re fully immersed in the heart of the Alps and the adventure has truly begun.

180 Miles
Approximately 6h 21m (Including 2hrs for breaks)
Thumb on the starter button, engine roaring to life—it’s time to trade majestic glaciers for Mediterranean palms on the ultimate cross-border mountain run. We’re leaving the soaring peaks of Switzerland behind and carving our way south toward the sun-drenched shores of Lake Garda.
We climb out of the Swiss valleys, laying the bikes down into endless, sweeping hairpin turns as alpine meadows fade into rugged rock faces and towering pass summits. Cresting the high ridge, we cross the border into Italy, where the sharp mountain air begins to warm and the landscape dramatically transforms. The road clings to cliff faces and plunges into dramatic switchbacks, giving way to rolling vineyard hills, olive groves, and the shimmering blue expanse of Garda stretching out to the horizon. High-altitude curves, shifting climates, and pure tarmac euphoria—gear up, the lake is calling.

All Day
Today we take a well-earned break in the stunning area of Lake Garda. Surrounded by the dramatic peaks, it’s the perfect place to relax and recharge. Whether you choose to explore the lake, take in the mountain views, or simply enjoy the cafés and alpine atmosphere, Lake Garda offers the ideal backdrop for a restful day.

172 Miles
Approximately 6h 24m (Including 2hrs for breaks)
Tires warm, tank full, and eyes locked on the horizon—we’re leaving the sun-soaked olive groves and turquoise waters of Lake Garda behind, heading straight into the stone-carved heart of the Dolomites.
We sweep up from the southern shores, trading palm trees and lakeside breezes for the immediate, sharp incline of the northern valleys. As the air turns crisp and pine-scented, the gentle hills yield to towering limestone walls. We click down a gear and dive into a relentless labyrinth of asphalt, carving through the dramatic gorges and high-alpine corridors of the Trentino and South Tyrol regions.
The roads tighten, pitching upward into endless series of switchbacks as iconic, saw-toothed spires rise up to frame the skyline. It’s an epic transformation from Mediterranean paradise to high-altitude mountain stronghold—gear up, the pass is ours.

102 Miles
Approximately 5h 24m (Including 2hrs for breaks)
Kickstand up, clutch in, and gas open—we’re dropping straight into the epicenter of the Dolomites for an relentless workout on two wheels. There’s no warm-up here, just a continuous ribbon of asphalt snaking through a cathedral of vertical pink-granite spires.
We hit the lower turns of Passo Giau, tipping the frame into a relentless rhythm of tight, technical switchbacks. With every turn, the valley drops away until we burst onto the windswept plateau, staring down the massive, knife-edge rock monolith of Ra Gusela. The engine echoes off sheer cliff faces as we dive into the next sector, linking Passo Falzarego with the tight, rhythmic curves of the Passo Valparola. Up here, historical WWI strongholds crumble against the horizon while the tarmac delivers pure, unadulterated apex-hunting.
We pause briefly at the high mark to let the brakes cool and catch our breath, surrounded by 360 degrees of raw, towering stone. Breathtaking elevation, razor-sharp asphalt, and non-stop leaning—click it into gear, the next pass is waiting.

158 Miles
Approximately 6h 25m (Including 2hrs for breaks)
Clutch pulled, revs pinned—we’re launching northward, stringing together a relentless gauntlet of high-altitude runs on a direct trajectory for the border.
We pitch the bikes low into a series of sharp, stacked hairpins, sweeping past jagged mountain silhouettes and the brilliant turquoise glow of alpine lakes tucked deep between the peaks. There’s no time to breathe—we immediately charge into the next set of sweeping ascents, leaning hard through dense pine forests until the tree line drops away and the sky opens wide over the high border ridges.
Descending into the next valley floor, we click down through the gearbox and bank straight into a narrow, single-lane ribbon of raw tarmac carved directly into vertical granite. High above the valley, as we roll past a remote alpine tarn at the summit, the green, white, and red flags fade behind us, replaced by the massive, ice-capped peaks of Austria towering ahead—throttle wide open, border crossed.

152 Miles
Approximately 7h 20m (Including 2hrs for breaks)
We’re storming up from the Italian valley floor to conquer the formidable Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road before blasting all the way north toward the foothills of Bavaria.
We dive straight into the lower ascents, sweeping the bikes through an endless, rhythmic staircase of alpine switchbacks. The thick pine cover gives way to sheer, ice-scarred stone faces as the altitude climbs past the cloud line. Cresting the summit plateau at 2,175 meters, we pull up to the stunning TOP Mountain Crosspoint. Perched directly on the ridge, Europe’s highest motorcycle museum stands guard over the pass. We step off the warm machines and take a peek at the staggering collection of over 500 rare, historic motorcycles—a world-class gallery loaded with vintage two-wheeled treasures and classic engines, all framed by floor-to-ceiling mountain panoramas.
Re-helmeted and rolling out, we cross the border toll into Austria, diving down a dramatic ribbon of cliffside tarmac that carves through deep gorges and wide, flowing alpine meadows. Keeping the pace hot as the rugged peaks fade into rolling green hills, we cross into Germany and coast to a stop right near the fairytale castle countryside of Füssen—gear packed, pass conquered, epic ride delivered.

142 Miles
Approximately 5h 15m (Including 2hrs for breaks)
Clutch out, throttle twisted wide—we’re leaving the fairytale skyline of Füssen behind, sweeping west above the mirrored surface of Lake Constance on a direct line for the dark, pine-forested ridges of the Black Forest.
We trace the northern foothills of the Alps, leaning through the fast, sweeping curves of the German Alpine Road (Deutsche Alpenstraße). The sharp limestone peaks soften into rolling Allgäu meadows and fruit orchards as the air takes on a crisp, lake-side breeze. Passing high above the shimmering blue expanse of Lake Constance (Bodensee), we bypass the slow coastal traffic and keep the pace hot across the elevated plateaus of Upper Swabia.
The open countryside gradually draws in as dense, towering evergreen forests swallow the horizon. The tarmac narrows, dipping and climbing into tight, bankable curves carved through deep timberland and mossy ravines. Open meadows yield to endless dark pines, cool mountain shadows, and pure, uninterrupted riding bliss—gear up, the Black Forest is ours.

172 Miles
Approximately 6h 05m (Including 2hrs for breaks)
We thread through the lower canopy, leaning low into a endless, flowing rhythm of shadowed S-curves and banking sweepers. Sunlight flickers through towering Douglas firs as the asphalt clings to moss-covered gorges and follows the sharp, carved contours of mountain streams. We click through the gearbox, accelerating through tight hairpins that open into vast, high-altitude plateaus overlooking rolling green ridges and mist-filled valleys.
Higher up, the back roads narrow to a single ribbon of smooth, dark tarmac, completely free of traffic. The engine echoes against the dense forest walls as we charge through switchback after switchback, surrounded by the deep pine scent and cool mountain air. Pure lean angles, razor-sharp asphalt, and dense evergreen wilderness—throttle open, the forest is ours.

305 Miles
Approximately 7h 20m (Including 2hrs for breaks)
We’re embarking on the final leg of the tour, slicing northwest across the Dutch lowlands on a mission to hunt down the iconic dams and sea defenses guarding the coast.
We roll out of the rolling hills onto flat, open tarmac, where the horizon stretches out endlessly under sweeping sea skies. The roads trace the contours of historic dikes, placing us high above the surrounding polders and canal networks. We click up through the gears as the route leads us across massive engineering marvels—sweeping across long, open sea barriers where the North Sea crashes on one side and quiet inland waters mirror the sky on the other. Salt air hits the visor as we lean into gentle, wind-swept curves connecting historic fishing villages and windmills along the shoreline.
As afternoon fades into evening, the coastal roads taper straight toward the bustling waterways of Europort. We roll up to the harbor docks, side stands down, letting the hot exhaust pop and cool one last time beside the water as we prepare to load onto the Rotterdam ferry—gear stowed, coast conquered, epic European tour complete.
